The Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway Expansion Project, spanning Ho Chi Minh City – Long An – Dong Thap, is invested by an investor consortium led by Deo Ca Group, with a total investment of VND 36,172 billion (approximately USD 1.34 billion).

The project has a total length of 96 km. The Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong section will be expanded from 4 to 8 lanes, with a design speed of 120 km/h. The Trung Luong – My Thuan section, including the An Thai Trung – north of My Thuan 2 Bridge segment, will be expanded from 4 to 6 lanes, with a design speed of 100 km/h.

The project officially broke ground on December 19, 2025, and is expected to be completed in 2028.
