CMC has announced plans for a $250 million investment in a hyperscale data center, initially designed with a capacity of 30 MW and the potential to expand up to 120 MW.
On July 13, CMC confirmed that the Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP) has approved the development of the CMC Hyperscale Data Center in the eastern part of the city. The project is scheduled to begin construction in 2026.
This data center is positioned as a core infrastructure component in CMC’s digital and AI transformation strategy. It will also support the group’s goal of expanding into global markets and serves as a key project in Ho Chi Minh City’s digital infrastructure development plan.
