The Ngoc Hoi Bridge – one of the key infrastructure projects connecting Hanoi with Hung Yen Province along Ring Road 3.5 – officially broke ground on August 19, 2025. The project is part of a series of major developments commemorating Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.
Ngoc Hoi Bridge is designed as a modern cable-stayed bridge with a total length of approximately 7.5 km, including:
Main bridge across the Red River: 680 m long, 32.3–33 m wide, comprising 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 mixed-use lanes (for auxiliary vehicles and sidewalks).
Approach roads on both ends: 33 m wide, built in parallel to support traffic flow.
The project has a total investment of about VND 11,800 billion, funded by both the central government and Hanoi’s budget, with completion targeted for 2028.
