The APEC Phu Quoc Multi-Functional Complex, developed by Sun Group (Phu Quoc Sun Co., Ltd.), was officially announced in Q1 2025 during the launch ceremony for key projects in preparation for the APEC 2027 Summit.

Situated on approximately 57 hectares of reclaimed land, the project is designed to accommodate nearly 15,000 people and will include:

• Conference and Exhibition Center with a total area of 10,000 m² and seating for 3,000–3,500 guests.
• Multi-purpose hall, International Media Center (serving 3,000–4,000 journalists), and APEC Square.
• Multi-functional Cultural and Arts Center (3,000–3,500 seats) with a dining facility capable of serving 3,000–4,000 meals.
• An iconic 69-storey high-rise complex integrating hotel, office space, a duty-free shopping mall, and a marina.

This development is envisioned to become a new landmark of Phu Quoc, serving as a focal point during the APEC 2027 Summit.

The project is currently under accelerated construction to ensure timely completion for APEC 2027.
