On the afternoon of August 22, 2025, the investor Khuong Nguyen JSC commenced construction of a VND 1,000 billion (~USD 39 million) social housing project in Dong Hoi (Quang Binh). The project is located on a land plot of approximately 8.95 hectares, comprising six 12-storey residential blocks with a total floor area of nearly 50,000 sqm, providing 460 apartments.

This development is one of 15 key projects selected to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) in Quang Binh Province. Its goal is to expand urban space and improve living standards for civil servants, workers, laborers, and low-income residents — particularly those living in the central administrative and political district.

In addition, the Western Phan Huy Chu Urban Area will feature:

• 163 terraced houses
• 23 villas
