Groundbreaking of the Thượng Cát Bridge Project – Hanoi
The Thượng Cát Bridge is a major transportation project spanning the Red River, forming part of Ring Road 3.5. It connects Bắc Từ Liêm District with Đông Anh District and is developed by the Hanoi Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment with a total investment of VND 8,300 billion.
The project has a total length of 5.2 kilometers, including a 780-meter main bridge. The bridge deck will be 33 meters wide, accommodating 8 lanes (6 for motor vehicles and 2 mixed-use lanes). It is designed with modern engineering technology, ensuring high load capacity and featuring an elegant architectural design that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape.
Construction officially commenced on October 10, 2025, and completion is expected by 2027.
