Pa Vi H’mong Village – As Beautiful as a Movie Set

The Pa Vi H’mong Ethnic Cultural Village (Meo Vac Commune, Ha Giang Province) has been recognized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism as “Vietnam’s Best Community Tourism Destination 2025.” Nestled in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains near Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Nho Que River, Pa Vi captivates visitors with its pristine, cinematic beauty.

Opened to visitors in 2019, the village spans over 46,000 square meters and consists of three main zones (A–B–C), home to nearly 30 H’mong households engaged in community-based tourism. The architecture reflects traditional H’mong design, featuring wooden frames, yin-yang tiled roofs, stone fences, and earthen walls, creating an authentic and rustic atmosphere.

Beyond accommodation, visitors can enjoy folk performances and take part in the Gau Tao Festival, one of the H’mong people’s most important cultural celebrations, held annually at the beginning of the year to pray for blessings and good harvests.

Alongside Pa Vi, the title of “Vietnam’s Best Community Tourism Destination 2025” was also awarded to Sin Suoi Ho (Lai Chau), the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Hanoi), Thai Hai Village (Thai Nguyen), and Thanh Ha Pottery Village (Da Nang).
