The Van Don Integrated Resort & Casino Complex is located in Van Yen Commune, Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh Province, and is developed by Van Don Sun Joint Stock Company, a member of Sun Group.

The project covers a total area of 244.45 hectares, of which more than 182 hectares are designated for functional facilities such as a casino, luxury villas, hotels, condotels, shopping malls, office spaces, convention centers, and entertainment venues. The remaining 62 hectares, consisting of protective and production forest land, will be preserved in their natural state.

With a total investment capital of over USD 2 billion, the project aims to establish a world-class integrated resort and gaming destination — piloting casino access for Vietnamese citizens — with the ambition of positioning Van Don as an international hub comparable to Macau or Las Vegas.

Construction of the project officially commenced on August 19, 2025, and it is expected to be completed within a 9-year timeframe.
