The Expansion and Upgrade Project of Vietnam–Sweden Uong Bi Hospital is located in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province, and is invested in by the Project Management Board for Construction Investment – Region I, with a total investment of VND 1,540 billion (approximately USD 57 million).

The project is implemented on a land area of 208,903 m², featuring a medical examination and treatment complex with 8 above-ground floors and 1 basement, a total gross floor area of 62,650 m², providing 680 additional hospital beds, along with other supporting auxiliary facilities.

The project officially broke ground on December 19, 2025, and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2029.
