Groundbreaking of the Dinh Khao Bridge Project
The Dinh Khao Bridge Project connects Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province with Phu Phung Commune, Cho Lach District, Ben Tre Province across the Co Chien River, along National Highway 57. The project is implemented under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model, using a Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) contract, with Construction Works Investment Joint Stock Company 545 acting as the representative of the investor consortium. The total investment amounts to VND 2,852 billion (USD 105 million).
The project aims to replace the Dinh Khao ferry terminal, thereby encouraging industrial, commercial, and service investment along National Highway 57. The project has a total length of approximately 4.3 km, including a main bridge section of 1.5 km, with a bridge width of 17.5 m, four traffic lanes, and a design speed of 80 km/h.
The project broke ground on December 19, 2025, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
