The Cà Ná LNG Power Plant Project is located in Cà Ná Commune, Thuận Nam District, Khánh Hoà Province and is invested in by the Trung Nam Group – Sideros River Holdings Consortium, with a total investment of approximately VND 57,400 billion (around USD 2.2 billion).

The project is implemented on a combined land and water area covering approximately 265.7 hectares, with a scale comprising an LNG-fired power plant with a capacity of 1,500 MW, an LNG storage system with a capacity of approximately 220,000 m³, an LNG import terminal, and integrated technical infrastructure works. The project will supply a large-scale power source for the national electricity system.

The project is expected to commence construction during the 2026–2027 period and be completed and put into commercial operation before 2030.
