The Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Complex is located at Van Don International Airport, Quang Ninh Province. The project is led by Sun Group as the principal investor, in strategic partnership with HAECO (Hong Kong), Japan Airlines, and Toyota Tsusho (Japan), with a total investment of approximately USD 360 million.

The project is being developed on a site area of more than 20 hectares and is designed as a state-of-the-art facility meeting international standards. In Phase 1, the complex will be capable of accommodating four wide-body aircraft and two narrow-body aircraft simultaneously, with integrated facilities for aircraft maintenance, repair, component overhaul, and supporting infrastructure.

The project is scheduled to break ground in 2026 and is expected to commence commercial operations in 2028.
