Groundbreaking Ceremony for 860 Resettlement Apartments for the Rach Xuyen Tam Project
The 860-unit resettlement housing project for the Rach Xuyen Tam development, overseen by the Ho Chi Minh City Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works, officially broke ground on August 8, 2025, at 4 Phan Chu Trinh Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Rach Xuyen Tam improvement project stretches from the Nhieu Loc – Thi Nghe Canal to the Vam Thuat River, affecting 1,880 households. To address the housing shortage, the city has decided to build a resettlement housing complex at 4 Phan Chu Trinh Street to accommodate the majority of affected residents.
The development comprises three apartment blocks (B1, B2, B3), each 20 stories high, built on a 12,099 m² land plot. It integrates residential units with commercial and service spaces, providing a total of 864 resettlement apartments and a gross floor area of 80,318.96 m².
