Groundbreaking of the Long Hung Bridge Project (Dong Nai 2) Connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai City
The Long Hung Bridge Project is located along the route connecting Long Phuoc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, to An Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai City, with a connection to the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway. The project is being developed by a consortium led by Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) and its partners, with a total investment of approximately VND 12.7 trillion (~USD 508 million).
The project has a total length of approximately 9.8 km, including around 3.5 km of the main bridge and approach bridges. The bridge is designed as a single-plane cable-stayed bridge, featuring a 350 m main span and 175 m-high towers, with six motor-vehicle lanes and two mixed-use lanes. The bridge deck is approximately 37 m wide, with a design speed of 80 km/h.
The project officially broke ground on September 29, 2026, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2029.
