Phu Quoc – Asia’s Most Beautiful Island and Top 3 Worldwide in 2025

Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam has been named the most beautiful island in Asia and ranked third globally in 2025 by the prestigious U.S. travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler, based on votes from travel experts and international visitors.

In the ranking, Phu Quoc received an impressive 95.51 out of 100 points, evaluated across criteria such as service quality, natural scenery, beach beauty, local cuisine, and hospitality. With this score, the “Pearl Island” surpassed famous destinations like the Maldives, Bali, and Phuket, trailing only two U.S. islands — Kiawah and Hilton Head.

The recognition is part of the Reader’s Choice Awards, one of the world’s most respected and long-standing travel awards, held annually for 38 years and featuring nearly one million participants. The list of islands is divided into eight global regions and serves as a “travel guidebook” for future explorers.

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, about 120 km from Rach Gia and 45 km from Ha Tien, Phu Quoc covers an area of approximately 580 square kilometers and is often likened to a “fish wagging its tail” on the map. It is among Vietnam’s most famous tourist destinations, known for its pristine beaches, mild climate, and rich ecosystem.

In addition to Phu Quoc’s recognition, Vietnam’s TIA Wellness Resort (Da Nang) was also honored in the category of “Best Resort Spa in the World”, praised for its elegant design, privacy, and holistic wellness experience.
