Groundbreaking Ceremony of the BCF Yarn and Carpet Manufacturing Plant Project at Tam Thang Expanded Industrial Park

The BCF Yarn and Carpet Manufacturing Plant Project is located in Tam Thang Expanded Industrial Park, Thang Truong Commune, Da Nang City, with HS Hyosung Quang Nam Co., Ltd. as the investor and a total investment of approximately VND 2,606.1 billion (USD 100 million).

The project covers a land area of approximately 11 hectares and focuses on manufacturing BCF yarn, automotive carpets, and other types of carpets. The project will be implemented in two phases. Phase 1, with an investment of USD 80 million, is designed to produce 10,800 tonnes of BCF yarn per year, 3.8 million m² of automotive carpets per year, and 4 million m² of other carpets per year. Phase 2 involves an additional investment of USD 20 million and will increase BCF yarn production capacity by a further 6,000 tonnes per year.

The project officially broke ground on September 29, 2026. Phase 1 is expected to commence operations in Q4 2027, while Phase 2 is scheduled to begin operations in Q2 2029.
