Moc Chau – A Highland of Blossoms and the Majestic Waterfalls of Northwest Vietnam
Moc Chau, a lush green plateau in Son La Province, is renowned for its romantic landscapes and beautiful seasonal flowers. In spring, pristine white plum blossoms blanket Na Ka Plum Valley, creating a fairytale-like scene. Toward the end of the year, the plateau is adorned with white mustard flowers, golden wild sunflowers, and soft pink peach blossoms. Visitors can explore Pa Phach Village and Tan Lap to admire the region’s natural beauty.
Beyond its vibrant flower seasons, Moc Chau also captivates visitors with its pristine mountain forests and majestic waterfalls. Highlights include Dai Yem Waterfall, where cascading water resembles a flowing white silk ribbon, and Chieng Khoa Waterfall, famous for its emerald-green waters. During the rainy season, the waterfalls become even more powerful, offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the fresh mountain air of the plateau.
