The Nam Quang Nam Waste-to-Energy Plant Project is located in Hoa Dong Hamlet, Nui Thanh Commune, Da Nang City, with Green Star Environment Company Limited and Green Marble Joint Stock Company serving as the Project Owners, with a total investment of approximately VND 2,184 billion (USD 87 million).

The project is developed on a land area of approximately 17.2 hectares, with a waste treatment and recycling capacity of approximately 1,215 tonnes per day and a power generation capacity of 15 MW. The main components include systems for the collection, treatment, and disposal of domestic waste, conventional industrial waste, and hazardous waste, along with a power generation system that converts energy from waste incineration into electricity.

The project received approval of its investment policy on October 12, 2026. Construction is expected to commence in late 2026, with the plant scheduled to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2029.
