The Soc Trang 4 Wind Power Plant Project is located in Vinh Chau Ward, Can Tho City, and is developed by Soc Trang Energy Investment Joint Stock Company 1 as the Investor, with a total investment capital of approximately VND 14.5 trillion (USD 547 million).

The project is being developed on a land and offshore area spanning more than 1,223 hectares, featuring 56 wind turbines with a total designed capacity of approximately 350 MW. The project infrastructure includes a 220 kV substation with a capacity of 4×100 MVA and a 2.7-kilometer transmission line, expected to supply around 1.17 billion kWh of clean electricity per year to the national power grid.

The project officially commenced construction on May 19, 2026, and is scheduled for completion and commercial operation in Q4 2028.
