Functional Area No. 5 of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone is located at the foot of Ba Na Mountain (An Son Hamlet, Ba Na Commune), covering an area of approximately 90 hectares. It is planned to be developed into a mixed-use complex of commerce, services, high-end resort facilities, and eco-tourism. The project has an estimated total investment of over VND 808 billion and is developed by Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company.

According to the plan, construction will commence in Q4/2025 and is expected to be completed by Q4/2027.

The Da Nang Free Trade Zone (Da Nang FTZ), located at the foot of Ba Na Mountain, spans about 1,881 hectares and includes roughly 7–10 designated areas. Among these, the subdivision “Investment, construction, and infrastructure business for functional areas No. 5, 6, and 7” covers approximately 645 hectares, specifically:

• Area No. 5: 90 hectares
• Area No. 6: 154 hectares — oriented for development into a high-quality mixed-use complex of commerce, services, and hospitality.
• Area No. 7: 401 hectares — oriented for development into a digital economy hub, focusing on information technology and innovation, combined with commerce and services, creating a true science and innovation complex.
