Groundbreaking of the Cổ Linh Underpass Project – Hanoi

The Cổ Linh Underpass Project, located at the Cổ Linh intersection in Long Biên Ward, Hanoi, is developed by the Hanoi Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment with a total investment of VND 750 billion.

The project’s starting point connects to the Vĩnh Tuy Bridge (Phase 2), approximately 400 meters from the Cổ Linh intersection, and its endpoint links to the existing Đàm Quang Trung Road, about 1,000 meters from the junction.

The entire route is about 600 meters long and 27 meters wide, featuring six traffic lanes (three lanes in each direction). The underpass aims to ease traffic congestion at the Cổ Linh intersection, particularly after the Vĩnh Tuy Bridge Phase 2 and the Ring Road 2 elevated section (Ngã Tư Sở – Vĩnh Tuy) come into operation.

Construction officially commenced on October 4, 2025, and the project is expected to be completed in 2026.
