Cam Thanh Village (Hoi An, Da Nang) has recently been honored by Forbes (USA), ranking 20th in the list of the World’s 50 Most Beautiful Villages in 2025. It is the only village in Vietnam to make it onto this list.

Located about 4 km from the center of Hoi An Ancient Town, Cam Thanh is best known for its Bay Mau nipa palm forest and refreshing river landscape, offering visitors a unique experience reminiscent of a “mini Mekong Delta” in Central Vietnam.

Visitors can enjoy basket boat rides weaving through the palm forest, watch skillful boat performances, listen to traditional folk singing, or take part in farming tours such as riding buffaloes, transplanting rice, cycling through the village, and joining traditional cooking classes. The basket boat service is currently priced at around VND 150,000 per guest, with many scenic spots set up for sightseeing and photo opportunities.

Prior to being recognized by Forbes, in 2024, Tripadvisor also ranked the Cam Thanh basket boat experience among the Top 25 Most Attractive Boat Tours in the World, further affirming the growing appeal of this destination to both domestic and international tourists.
