Cargo Terminal Project at Da Nang International Airport
The Cargo Terminal Project at Da Nang International Airport, invested by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), is being developed on a site of approximately 24,618 m² with a total investment of over VND 631 billion (around USD 24 million).
The project is expected to initially operate with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year (from Q2/2025 to Q4/2026) and gradually increase to 100,000 tons per year (from Q3/2028 to Q1/2029).
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 30, 2025, at the northern area of the airport’s operation building. This project is part of the broader Da Nang Airport infrastructure upgrade plan, which also includes the expansion of Passenger Terminal T1 and the comprehensive development of the airport’s northern area. Its ultimate goal is to strengthen air cargo logistics capacity in the central region, promote import–export activities, and enhance economic connectivity both domestically and internationally.
