The VMASS Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Plant is located at Lot CN26-01, Nam Dinh Vu Non-Tariff Zone and Industrial Park (Zone 1), Hai Phong City, and is developed by VMASS Automobile One Member Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of VIMID – Vietnam Machinery Development Investment Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of approximately VND 1.303 trillion (around USD 50 million).

The project is being developed on a 10.5-hectare site with a designed production capacity of 15,000 vehicles per year. The plant includes welding, painting, and assembly workshops, a truck body manufacturing workshop, warehouses, office buildings, a canteen, parking areas, staff accommodation, and integrated technical infrastructure, supporting the production and assembly of commercial trucks.

The project officially broke ground on July 23, 2026. Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027, with commercial operations expected to commence in the first quarter of 2028. The entire project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2028
