The Gemalink Port Project – Phase 2 is located in the Cái Mép – Thị Vải port complex (expanded Ho Chi Minh City / Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province), and is jointly developed by Gemadept Corporation and CMA CGM (France), with a total investment of approximately VND 6,000 billion (~USD 240 million).

The project is being implemented on a site area of approximately 54.4 hectares (for both phases), comprising a port berth system with a total length of over 1.4 km (upon full completion), along with container yards and modern technical infrastructure. The project will increase total handling capacity to approximately 3 million TEUs per year.

The project was officially groundbroken on April 17, 2026, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in Q4 2027.
