Groundbreaking Ceremony of the HUD Thu Duc Social Housing Project

The HUD Thu Duc Social Housing Project is located in Hiep Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, right along the Saigon River and close to major transport routes such as National Highway 13 and Pham Van Dong Boulevard. The project is developed by the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD) on a land plot of 26.74 hectares. Its location is adjacent to Van Phuc City, benefiting from the existing urban ecosystem and amenities.

The project officially broke ground on August 19, 2025, and includes:

  • Low-rise area (10.9 ha): 169 villas and 296 terraced houses.
  • High-rise area – commercial apartment blocks (2.84 ha).
  • Social housing area (1.37 ha): three 7-storey blocks providing 209 apartments designated for low-income households.

 

At present, the project is in the phase of infrastructure development and construction of the residential zones. However, there is still no official information regarding the expected completion timeline of the entire project.
