The Nam Can Tho University International Hospital – Phase 2 is located in Cai Rang Ward, Can Tho City, with Nam Can Tho University serving as the Project Investor. The project has a total investment capital of approximately VND 1.5 trillion (approximately USD 60 million).

The project will be developed on land within the university campus and will comprise one 20-story building with two basement levels, with a total gross floor area of approximately 59,511 m². The project will add 700 hospital beds, increasing the hospital’s total capacity from 300 beds in Phase 1 to approximately 1,000 beds. A key architectural feature is a rooftop helipad for emergency medical services, directly connected to the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and operating rooms via dedicated elevators.

The project officially broke ground on September 18, 2026, and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2028.
