The Nam Thang Long – Tran Hung Dao Metro Line Project (Hanoi Metro Line No. 2, section Nam Thang Long – Tran Hung Dao) has a total investment of approximately VND 35,600 billion.

The project includes 7 underground stations and 3 elevated stations, with a total length of about 11.5 kilometers — comprising 8.9 kilometers underground and 2.6 kilometers elevated. The route runs from Nam Thang Long (in the northern area of Hanoi, near Nguyen Van Huyen Street extension) to Tran Hung Dao Street in the city center.

The project commenced construction on October 9, 2025, and is expected to be operational by 2029.
