The Olympic Sports Urban Area Project (also known as Vinhomes Olympic) is located in the southern area of Hanoi, spanning 11 communes. The project is developed by Vingroup with a total investment of approximately VND 925,000 billion (around USD 35 billion).

The project is envisioned as a modern international sports complex integrated with urban, service, and ecological functions. It is developed on a land area of 16,080 hectares and, upon completion, will become the largest urban area in Vietnam.

The project officially held its groundbreaking ceremony on December 19, 2025. The main sports complex and stadium are scheduled to be completed by Q2 2030, while the entire project is expected to be fully completed by 2035.

The project is divided into four major functional zones:

• Zone A: Urban area integrated with transportation connections supporting the main sports complex
• Zone B: Central sports and service area
• Zones C & D: Expansion zones for an integrated sports–service urban development model
