The Phan Thiet Civil Airport Project is located in Mũi Né Ward, Lâm Đồng Province, developed by Phan Thiet Sun Airport Company Limited, with a total investment of approximately VND 3,900 billion (USD 150 million).

The project is implemented on a site of approximately 74.6 hectares, featuring a passenger terminal and civil aviation facilities meeting ICAO 4E airport standards, with a designed capacity of around 2 million passengers per year (Phase 1) and a total terminal floor area of approximately 18,000 m².

The project is scheduled to break ground on April 27, 2026, and is expected to commence operations in 2027.
