The Ben Thanh – Thu Thiem Metro Line (Line 2 section) is located in Ho Chi Minh City, connecting the Ben Thanh area to the Thu Thiem New Urban Area. The project is invested by THACO Group under a PPP model (BT contract), with a total investment of approximately VND 36,744 billion (USD 1,500 million).

The project has a total length of approximately 6 km, running fully underground with 6 stations, forming a key transport corridor linking Tan Son Nhat – the city center – Thu Thiem – Long Thanh. It will provide high-capacity urban transit infrastructure connecting the existing city center with the Thu Thiem New Urban Area, and is planned as part of the overall Metro Line 2 network of over 62 km.

The project commenced on April 29, 2026, and is expected to be completed in Q4 2030.
