The Hoa Phat Long An Steelmaking and Rolling Plant Project is located at Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park, Tan Lan Commune, Can Duoc District, Long An Province. Developed by Hoa Phat Long An Steel Trading and Services Joint Stock Company, the project has a total investment of approximately VND 2.45 trillion (around USD 96 million).

The project is being developed on a 110,057 m² site and comprises modern steelmaking and rolling facilities, finished product storage warehouses, and supporting infrastructure. The plant is designed with a production capacity of 700,000 tonnes per year, including steel billets and finished construction steel products.

The project broke ground on July 28, 2026, and is scheduled for completion and commencement of commercial operations after 36 months of construction and equipment installation.
