The Omoda & Jaecoo Automobile Assembly Plant (GEL-O&J) is located in Hung Phu Industrial Park, Hung Phu Commune, Hung Yen Province, and is invested by a joint venture between Geleximco Group (Vietnam) and Chery Group (China) through GEL-O&J Automobile Joint Stock Company as the project developer. The total investment capital is approximately USD 319 million.

The project covers a land area of over 38 hectares and is designed with a production capacity of about 120,000 vehicles per year upon completion.

Construction officially commenced on October 30, 2025, and will be implemented in two phases:

• Phase 1: 2025–2026
• Phase 2: 2027–2029
