UK-based magazine Time Out has announced a list of the seven best destinations in Asia to admire autumn foliage, with Hanoi honored alongside renowned cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, and Kyoto.

Though the city lacks expansive maple forests or golden ginkgo groves, Hanoi captivates visitors with its gentle, romantic autumn atmosphere, especially around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, where trees turn shades of yellow and red in the crisp air. Beyond the scenery, travelers can also immerse themselves in the Mid-Autumn Festival, featuring lion dances, traditional folk performances, mooncakes, and streets lit up with thousands of lanterns.
