The North Hanoi Smart City is an investment joint venture between BRG Group (Vietnam) and Sumitomo Corporation (Japan). The project is located in Dong Anh District, Hanoi, along the Nhat Tan – Noi Bai axis.
The project covers an area of approximately 272 hectares with a total investment of around USD 4.2 billion. It will be developed in five phases, commencing on August 19, 2025, and is expected to be fully completed by 2032.
Development Phases:
Phase 1: About 2 ha – focused on residential development, including 16 apartment towers, 400 low-rise houses, schools, and public amenities.
Phase 2: About 5 ha – continued expansion of urban functions, housing, and public facilities.
Phase 3: About 7 ha – further development of mixed-use buildings, commercial areas, and integrated amenities.
Phase 4: About 2 ha – construction of additional mixed-use zones.
Phase 5: About 3 ha – highlighted by the iconic 108-storey Phuong Trach Tower (Finance & Trade Center), along with other significant architectural landmarks.
