The Phu Quoc Urban Railway Line 1 Project is a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) development aimed at connecting Phu Quoc International Airport, along routes DT.973 – DT.975, to APEC Avenue and the APEC Convention Center, with a total investment of nearly VND 9,000 billion.

The project will be developed on an area of approximately 34 hectares, with a total line length of about 17.7 kilometers, a design speed of 70–100 km/h, and is expected to include 5–7 stations along with one maintenance depot.

Construction is expected to commence in Q4/2025 and be completed by Q2/2027.
