The Lien Chieu Container Terminal Project (Component B) is located in Hai Van Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang, and is developed by a consortium of Hateco Group – Hateco Port Company – APM Terminals B.V., with a total investment of approximately VND 45,268 billion (around USD 1.76 billion).

The project is being developed on a land area of approximately 146 hectares and nearly 26 hectares of water surface, comprising 08 container berths with a total quay length of approximately 2,750 meters, along with barge berths. The port’s hinterland system includes warehouses, logistics areas, an operations center, and supporting facilities, with a designed throughput capacity of approximately 5.7 million TEU per year.

The project is expected to commence in 2026, with a total implementation period of approximately 10 years, in which Phase 1 (2025–2028) will construct and put into operation at least 02 berths.
