The Dien Bien Phu Cable Car Complex Combined with Cultural and Historical Tourism Project is located in Muong Phang Commune and Pu Nhi Commune, Dien Bien Province, and is invested by Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Tourism Services Company Limited – a member of Sun Group – with a total investment capital of approximately VND 2.076 trillion.

The Project is developed on a land area of more than 35 hectares, including a cable car departure station covering approximately 15.5 hectares, an arrival station of approximately 5.9 hectares, a cable car corridor of approximately 9.7 hectares, and a transportation infrastructure system covering approximately 4.2 hectares. The Project is planned as a cultural and historical tourism complex with an estimated capacity of approximately 15,000 visitors per day, contributing to the promotion of tourism in Dien Bien Phu.

The Project officially commenced construction on May 10, 2026, while the expected completion timeline has not yet been officially announced.
